Crocodile Durabase is a ready-mix mortar design for plastering concrete. It consists of Portland cement, sand and other additives. It provides high bonding strength, high durability and is easy to apply. Used for applying before waterproofing and tiling system in swimming pool application and other areas that require high adhesion plastering.

Application Instruction

Substrate Preparation

The concrete substrate must be firm, clean, and dry. Dirt, dust, any oils, other impurities, or foreign materials must be removed. Damp the surfaces before application.

Proportion of Mixing

Crocodile Durabase 20 kg per water 4-5 liters.

Preparation of product

Put Crocodile Durabase into water. Mix until the mixture is homogenous.

Application Method

  1. Apply the mixture to the concrete substrate with plastering trowel. The application thickness is 0.5-1.5 cm per layer. The maximum thickness should not be over 5 cm. Allow it to dry for 1-2 hours between layers.
  2. Levelling the surface with a trowel. Wetting and smoothening the surface by the sponge.
  3. Clean surface by a broom after dried.
  4. Allow it to dry for 3-7 days before applying waterproofing and tilling.

Tool Cleaning

Tools can be cleaned by scraping with water before the product is cured.

Suggestion

  • Do not use the product on hot surface. Damp the substrates with clean water to reduce water absorption.
  • Do not add any other materials. it causes the mixing ratio of the cement to be inaccurate.
  • Do not add more water when the cement has begun to cure.

Caution

  • Recommend using rubber gloves, dust masks, eyeglasses and personal safety equipment.
  • Apply with good ventilation. Do not inhale product.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advice.
  • Keep away from children.

Storage

  • It should be kept in a dry place and the temperature is not too high to avoid product’s degradation.
  • Shelf life for 1 year since manufactured date.
