Jorakay CSR Activity – “Jorakay Upcycling” Project Offers Waste Sorting Training for Primary Students

          “Jorakay” organized CSR activity “Create Earth Saving Hero, Turn Waste into Zero” by “Jorakay Upcycling” by volunteer speakers and staff together creating training activity on how to sort and separate waste via various learning media and activities. This was aimed for Prathom 5 (Grade 5) students in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan Authority supervision within Saphan Sung District, which is the area of the head office of Jorakay Corporation Company Limited, featuring Somphoch Krunganusorn (200 Pee) School, Surao Thap Chang Khlong Bon School, Suraoladbuakhao School, Surao Siro School, and Sam Yaek Khlong Lolae School.

          “Jorakay Upcycling” – “Hero Tackles Waste” campaign is CSR project that “Jorakay” determines to expand and pass it forward to communities and society around the head office, starting by donating waste bins made by recycled materials by Jorakay, offering waste sorting or separating training and supporting budget to ensure sorted waste recycled correctly, and to raise awareness and motivation for children to recycle and to enjoy saving environment and take pride of it as this is good for themselves and everyone. This is consistent with United Nation’s guideline on sustainability on syndicate attempt to reduce plastic pollution to soil, air, and water as it highly affects public health and environment, according to the principle of Circular Economy.

          “Jorakay” wishes to be a part of the campaigns to raise awareness among children to be ‘hero tackling water’ to make better and sustainable communities and society.
